These pretty earrings have been made with one of our new charms, the ribbon bow.
Simply add a mother of pearl disc bead to a headpin, make a loop then add it to an earring hook together with a charm - simple! You can also add an extra charm made with a freshwater pearl and three 3mm silver plated spacer beads.

This is the prototype for a necklace project I have been asked to make by a new magazine on making jewellery. It’s not quite ready but I’m pleased with the bubble effect. It’s easier to make than it looks and I will put together the instructions when I post the final version.

Making jewellery from resin and precious metal clay (PMC) has become very popular recently. If you want try your hand then a workshop is a good way to get started. Art Clay Supplies run several courses from their base near Reading, and sell all the supplies you need in their online shop.

Globaholic has an ever increasing range of findings ideal for use with resin or PMc, including picture frame charms, cufflink and earring blanks and dog tag pendants.

These are just some of the gorgeous new beads at Globaholic this week. We now have all sorts of new metallised plastic beads which I’m sure you’ll love. Metallised plastic beads have all the effect of metal but without the weight. This makes them ideal for jewellery, particularly earrings.
Also new this week are additions to our small jewellery making kit range, including bag charm kits. We have new findings such as Monster Kidney Wires and cufflink blanks, and we are introducing a range of findings for resin jewellery making - more on this later.
Take a look at our new products page.

A great way to use up leftover beads is to make one of these pretty random bracelets. Made on nylon coated beading wire and finished with a t-bar toggle fastener. Add a few charms as you go along.
